Technology and ICT capability supports and enhances student learning across all areas of the curriculum. At Thangool State School, students develop and apply ICT knowledge, skills and appropriate social and ethical protocols and practices to investigate, create and communicate, as well as developing their ability to manage and operate ICT to meet their learning needs.

Thangool State School teachers plan for learning by embedding technology into all curriculum areas, providing the content and contexts where students apply their ICT knowledge, skills, behaviours and dispositions.

Thangool State School teaching staff have access to external ICT consultants including Dr. Damien Kee to support our continued professional development.  Dr Kee makes regular visits during the year to implement ICT workshops with the students.

Our specialist technology teacher and learning support extension teacher provide for extra curricula opportunities for our students to develop their coding, robotic and computational skills.
