Thangool State School Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C) is committed to helping our students and our school community. We work together with the school to build a stronger school community where all children benefit. We are proud to support our school by running a uniform shop and tuckshop. We also facilitate the school banking program for the school. This year we have provided financial support to school camps, first aid training for teachers, the chaplaincy program, sporting teams and school sporting events. We could not provide this support without our great volunteers who donate their times and their skills. We also submit grant applications to fund major projects within our school that have been brought to the attention of the P&C. Our meetings are usually held once a month in the library, watch the school newsletter for meeting dates. Our P&C is a great way of meeting other families in the school.
A lot can be achieved through P&C’s and the school working together towards common goals. We need people from all walks of life and with a range of talents who are committed to delivering great outcomes for their children and the school. Everybody has a role to play and your ideas will be heard. The more people involved, the more exciting and successful it will be. To join Thangool State School P&C, please talk to the office staff or teachers who will be able to put you into contact with one of the current P&C Executive.
Our Tuckshop menu and Uniform shop order form can be found in the Forms and documents section.
To volunteer for tuckshop please watch our school newsletters for links to the online roster system or simply call into our tuckshop and talk to one of volunteers.
